FSAC boasts three Canadian Moving Image Ephemera Sessions | June 3 - 4, 2010

Co-organized by Zoë Druick (SFU) and Charles Acland (Concordia), the 2010 FSAC conference will have three sessions devoted to the history of Canadian moving image ephemera. Session 1 will be a panel of scholarly research with presentations by Liz Czach (Alberta), Paul Moore (Ryerson), Gerda Cammaer (Ryerson), and Joseph Clark (SFU), on Thursday June 3, 10:45-12:15 in MB 3-270. Session 2 will be a workshop on historiography of moving image ephemera, with Charles Acland, Zoë Druick, Louis Pelletier (Concordia), Joanne Stober (National Archives), Blaine Allan (Queen’s), and Aboubakar Sanogo (Carleton), on Friday, June 4, 11-12:30 in MB 3-270. Session 3 will be a screening of representative works. This takes place Friday, June 4, 12:30-1:30 in MB S2-455.
