"The film documents one day at the Ottawa Technical High School in Ottawa. Following the arrival of teachers and students (mostly on bicycles), the film visits the following activities: draughting class; shop; electricity; printing; the school newspaper 'Tech Talk'; the sheet metal shop; wood working; and auto mechanics. After lunch in the cafeteria, we meet the principal, Mr. W.B. Wallen. This is followed by art class, a fire drill, and a montage of teachers and students in various activities (using superimposition). Sports are then reviewed showing basketball, track and field, football and gymnastics and finally, the drama club and a school dance. The day ends as the principal locks up. The school motto is 'Fit Faber Fabricando'."
