"Documentary on the salmon fisheries including a brief description of the fish, types of salmon and their habits, particularly during the mating season (i.e. jumping up waterfalls etc.). Footage includes: commercial salmon fisheries with lines and with nets; brailing salmon aboard small trawlers; the processing and canning of salmon in a British Columbia Packers, Ltd. plant with automation much in evidence; women workers, dressed in white, having lunch; tins bear Clover Leaf Fancy Red Sockeye labells speeding through machinery; and a family of four preparing to eat a salmon dish."
