"The subject is a highly intelligent young man with a criminal record. He is shown as having a complete absence of moral sense, which has kept him in trouble with society and the law. Through psychiatric interviews with Dr. Henry B. Durost, we learn his feelings about himself and society. We see the location of his most recent break-in and hear about it and his subsequent actions from the storekeeper and the detective who apprehended him, the parole officer who tried so often to rehabilitate him, a newspaper man who tried to help him develop his obvious talent for writing and the warden who spent much time with him. Filmed at the Verdun Protestant Hospital, Montreal."
