"The film opens with Alice in Wonderland who wondered what was on the other side of the mirror. Engineers have enquiring minds also. They believe that almost anything is possible in a new world where technology is taking over in communications, transportation, irrigation, power resourse development, etc... Specialists in many fields now work together on new concepts in an integration of such disciplines. This is a visually exciting film and shows such things as glass being made on hot lead, mysterious underground tunnels, complex computers, the huge Church falls Hydro Electric project and some fascinating assignments such as the emptying of a major lake to build a mine and the harnessing of the tides in the Bay of Fundy for electrical power. Acres is a Canadian company in step with the future and this film gives an indication of the extent of their activities and the variety of fields that they are involved in. The demolishment of a building demonstrates old structures of thought tumbling down. Alice and other characters from Carroll's well-known story appear from time to time in the film to add a puckish touch of humour."
