"Documentary on the contribution of the Canadian automotive industry to the war effort. Montage of Canadian war machines; montage of Nazi personalities, events in Germany, parades of tanks, soldiers,etc. One lone Highlander blows a bugle. Cut to Canadian soldiers on parade. Long sequences on men and women at work on war material, manning machine tools, building automotive components for military transports. Artillery tractors and military trucks are tested on an exceedinglly rough testing ground. Women are shown being trained as drivers, mechanics, attending classes, graduating. Montage of diplomas from various cities in Canada. Women are then shown working on shells. Final sequences on an industrial montage, and on a montage of Canadian scenes beginning with the Parliament buildings in Ottawa."
