"The case of a thirteen-year-old girl, who appears much older, and whose near-delinquent behaviour is a problem to her parents, the police and her teachers, who also appear in the film. The girl and her parents are interviewed before and after her treatment at the Montreal Children's Hospital and after a period she spent in the Juvenile Clinic at Douglas Hospital. Psychiatrists are Dr. June Cumberland and Dr. S.J.Shamsie."
