"A documentary encouraging preparedness among the civil population of Canada. Using the danger of a Japanese bombing attack as a hypothesis, the film explains Red Cross classes in first aid treatments related to air raid injuries. The film then presents an enacted air raid and shows how one family, which attended the classes can help the members of a second family whose house was hit. The film specifically covers first aid treatment for shock, hemorrhage, artificial respiration, fractures, burns and the transportation of the injured. The role of the First Aid Squads is also explained."
