"By way of canoe, a couple retrace Samuel de Champlain's route up the Ottawa River to North Bay and down the French River to Georgian Bay on to Penetanguishene and Midland. This route was used by missionaries and fur traders. Historic sights of the War of 1812 as well as settlements by Philemon Wright are shown."
