"The vast lakelands of northern Saskatchewan offer fishermen many thrills not found in more southerly lakes. In this film a party of fishermen ventures north of Lac-la-Ronge, to freshwater lakes that have hardly known the lap of a paddle or the whirr of a fisherman's reel. They pull in prize catches of northern pike, whitefish, arctic grayling, walleye, and other varieties. A map of the Province shows highway and air routes to these northern regions."
