"Created to demonstrate modern techniques of poultry-raising, this film illustrates the farmer's routine and emphasizes the ideal conditions and specifics necessary for better results. Scientific practice is presented as a wise approach resulting in a successful business. In summary, the film recommends: careful range-raising of pullets with good shelters, pasture and the best growing rations; well-insulated houses for laying the flock with proper ventilation and a light, dry well-equiped interior; clear, comfortable nests; a constant supply of fresh water; a scientifically planned feeding program carried out with good grain feed (recommended is Quaker Full-O-Pep feeds). Credits at the head read: 'Presented by the Quaker Oats Company of Canada Limited, Produced by Crawley Films Limited. This film is designed to show the modern science of poultry-raising with special emphasis on the production of market eggs.' Credits at the tail read: 'Something to Crow About, produced by Crawley Films Limited, Ottawa - Toronto'."

"Ce film démontre les applications de la science moderne en aviculture; il insiste plus particulièrement sur la production des oeufs pour le marché."
