"Joe Fenton, fictitious hero of this film, is a workman who, as a result of his injuries on the job, has to have his leg amputated. Illustrating the compensation and rehabilitation services available to persons covered by the Ontario Workmen's Compensation Act, the film shows how teamwork by employers, workmen, and Board personnel help Joe overcome his difficulties and get back to work. The Ontario Act, incidentally, is recognized as being one of the most outstanding compensation plans in the world."
