"Promotional film. The Ford Company of Canada invites the viewer to see how it produces its automobiles at its plant at Windsor, Ontario. Every facet of the manufacturing of the motor and body is examined in detail, with a fascinating look at automation in the auto industry. The packing of automobiles for export is also shown. Another aspect treated in this film is the car industry's contribution to the Canadian economy as a buyer of manufactured parts, a user of primary materials, and as employer of a massive body of manpower. The film includes footage of the Ford Motor Company of Canada plant in Windsor, Ontario; workers entering the plant; a Canada Steamship Line freighter waiting to be loaded; and crates marked 'Ford' being transported by rail."
