Included in the footage is: daily activities - domestic scenes, cooking and eating, child-rearing, making clothes, food preparation, children playing; hunting - shooting seals, ice-fishing, caribou hunting (graphic depiction of the kill, cutting carcass, stripping furs, loading onto sleds), drying furs at the camp; winter trip - huskies and sled prepared, footage shot from sled. Also shown is the northern landscape with some panoramic footage, small animals and birds, random footage of daily life."
