"The film deals with the Government of Nova Scotia's attempts to increase the level of manufacturing in the province to the point where it has now become the largest single industry. This has been accomplished in part by Industrial Estates Ltd., a Government of Nova Scotia company which helps bring new manufacturing to the province by offering financial assistance to companies. This has resulted in the opening of plants for automotive assembly (Volvo in 1963), electronics, food processing, carpeting, ship building. There are also scenes of other high-profile industries in the province such as fishing, forestry, farming, and mining."
