"The case of a young man shown during and after recovery from a severe depression. Through a policeman called to the scene and surgeon Breen Marion who repaired the many stab wounds in his chest, we are introduced to the patient who, in a depression, tried to kill his pregnant wife and young son and to take his own life. We first see the patient in the mental hospital, where he continued his attempts at suicide, talking with psychiatrist Dr. Henry B. Durost. Filmed at Verdun Protestant Hospital, Montreal and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Montreal."
