"Documentary on sports in Canada. The documentary touches on a variety of sports and sporting events and draws special attention to well-known personalities. Sequences on track and field events, with Bob MacFarlane, the noted runner, performing; on daredevil motorcyclists performing for a crowd; stock car races and races involving regulation racing cars at Indianapolis; racing canoes and racing shells in practices and during meets. The Mimico Mountaineers Lacrosse team, starring No. 2, Eddie Sanford, show their stuff. Following a long sequence on the Calgary Stampede, Brendan Machin of Montreal and Frank Sedgeman of Australia demonstrate Davis Cup tennis. Doubles are played by Henri Rochon, George Robinson and an Australian team. The Montreal Royals play the Maple Leafs baseball team in Maple Leaf Stadium. Players demonstrate proper technique. Sequence on harness racing. Harold Wilson is shown piloting Miss Canada IV in a Harmsworth Trophy race on the Detroit River. Camera cuts to outboard motorboat races at the CNE. This is followed by a water skiing demonstration and College and Pro Football games. McGill beats Western in Montreal. Finally, the Detroit Red Wings win the Stanley Cup against the New York Rangers at the Olympia in Detroit 4 to 3 in the second overtime period. Jack Adams accepts the cup from Clarence Campbell. Players celebrate. The titles are followed by a dedication to the youth of Canada by Edward Littler, president of Walter M. Lowney Company Limited."
